No more thinking in thoughts

Since I have determined to create a blog, I find that often I trade in thinking in thoughts for thinking in blog entries. My usual chain of thinking is like a long string of colorful beads, connected by emotions or ideas unique to my experience of life, but now I try to group off rationally connected thoughts into a little ball, and top them off with a clever title like a large word sundae. We'll see how long this lasts...

Rural North Carolina

Driving down a road in Eastern North Carolina, we passed this house, and something captured me right away. This house stands in the middle of a large expanse of nothing, but the way it is sheltered by those skeletal trees fascinates me. It appears to have been abandoned for years, but I would love to buy it.
